| Long description | Colour space enlargement with intensive scales Pamphlet, 40 sides, DIN A4, with 6 pattern printings + CD ROM, in 2005 "Highly pigmented" printing inks are in every ones mouth. But what do they really bring? And what should one pay attention by the application to? This publication answers these questions. The publication summarises the results of a project with which by order bvdm from the Saxon institute of the pressure industry (SID) six intensive scales series were put through the paces. Besides, for example, the layer thick necessary for the pressure, the attainable colour extents and Tonwertzunahmen, the ICC profiles offered by the manufacturers, the pressure behaviour and the shy firmness of the scales were tested. The representation of the investigation results is complemented with useful tips what should be followed by the application by intensive scales. At the end some considerations are still done to the standardization by intensive scales. As an illustrative material the publication for each of the examined scales contains a pressure on which in each case two test pictures and some other elements are returned. Moreover, on a CD ROM the files which permit a comparison of the attainable colour extents with the standard colour space after ISO 12647 2 (process standard offset printing) are made available. |
