Long description Digital thermo media

ProFire Digitally media, the digital media of the newest generation for Tu pressure uses, are optimised for Tu pressure machines with Presstek ProFire Excel technology by Ryobi, Kodak polychrome Graphics and KBA.

In connection with Pressteks of new ProFire Excel laser illustration technology ProFire digital media allow a 16 micron illustration point and support 300th line grid as well as stochastische (FM) of grid. The palette is thereby considerably extended by pressure uses in the high resolutions which can be printed on a Tu pressure machine.

ProFire digital media are ecologically friendly. The thermale laser illustration process prevents dangerous garbage which walks along with the production more conventionally of lithograph graphic records. The non photographic records avoid problems and costs which are caused by the disposal of the processing chemicals. Because it concerns a record system without water, neither humid means nor alcohol substitute are necessary. Einrichtezeiten are considerably shortened by the illustration of the records in perfect Passer on the pressure machine and the use of the automatic printing inks profile system on newer Tu pressure machines what leads too considerably less wastepaper with paper and printing inks.

ProFire digital media support a variety of printing inks without. A higher surface area provides for a steady colour stratification and a faster achieved colour density. ProFire Digitally media reduces paper wastepaper, saves printing inks and allows high editions from up to 20,000 pieces.

PearlDry plus

PEARLDry was implemented in 1995 for the first time on Heidelberg Quickmaster TU, since then Presstek works perpetually on enlargements for the record design and the production process. Record material PEARLDry is delivered on polyester reinforced reels which contain 28 or 36 records. This innovative record design in combination with Pressteks laser illustration system results in an optimised Tu pressure machine which offers qualitatively high quality issues and a high degree in consistency and longevity.

Moreover, PEARLDry records are ecologically friendly.

PearlDry supports a variety of printing inks without and offers editions from to p to 20,000 pieces.

As a key element of his environmental engagement Presstek offers a recycling programme for used reel Tu record materials. If the user loads a new record sentence in a Tu pressure machine, he packs the used materials simply in the dispatch cardboard, closes this and attaches the provided dispatch label. By this programme a pressure enterprise must decontaminate considerably less garbage and Presstek can recycle a considerable part of the record reel.
